Two posts for the price of one!
ok, so I read Wicked and wasn't really feeling it. I should probably reread it because I may have missed all the subtle humor and sarcasm that I am now enjoying immensely in Son of a Witch, the sequel to Wicked.
So go on out there and read it. Biff bought it for me as a present and I wasn't sure I would even read it since the first one didn't really do it for me, but I picked it up and now I can't put it down.
BTW, the musical Wicked was great! Very funny and entertaining. I recommmend that as well. :)

Wow, I'm so glad you posted this. I read Wicked, well, started reading it in January... it was rough at first because I felt like I was reading porn! All those clock shenanigans! But then, she got older, and I totally got into it. I'm at the part where the house fell on her sister, and I can't read anymore because I don't want her to die!! Now that I see there's a sequel, maybe I'll keep going.
I liked Son of a Witch MUCH better too. I read a bunch of his other books thinking I'd like them as well and wasn't impressed. But SOAW was very good and I'd recommend only that with Wicked as a sequel only after seeing tghe musical. SOAW would be an amazing movie too. That is all.
